It would also help the economy by removing more items from the game and make for good YouTube content. ![]() This would actually add some really cool risk vs reward sceneries and some very interesting items. I also think it would be cool if you could corrupt items multiple times with a 25% or 35% chance to brick each time. In pd2 the bad outcome at least in terms of how it feels are, item turns rare, no change, 1 socket, and 90% of corruptions. Im not saying +1 skills should be a 25% chance or something, but the odds need to be more in tune to the amount of power being gained. Then there is no reason to have a 1/80 chance for something like +1 skills when you already have 45+ to skills and adding 1 more is only a 2.2% power gain. Id argue that if the vast majority of self corruptions are not the desired outcome for your build and the best corruptions are not huge gains in power. ![]() Things can go too far in either direction. People make these arguments for all sorts of thing involving rng.
